Other cute things kids say...



Connie's grandson Andrew came to stay a couple days.  When he
arrived, he announced that he loved coming to stay at her house.
"Why do you love coming to my house?" Connie asked. He looked
around and said, "Because I love your Spiderman webs!"

Emma, 4, while watching Discovery Channel, asked where Taiwan
was. Her mother carefully explained that
Taiwan was a country like
Australia
, Thailand and Singapore and was near China. Emma took
the explanation, then looked at her mother and asked, "So where
is Tai-two?"

Olivia, 3, went with her mother to the vegetable garden to see
how things were growing.While her mother was checking on the
green beans, Olivia decided to check out the zucchini. All of a
sudden Olivia screamed, "Oh, Mommy!The bikinis are HUGE!"

One of Shea's 3-year-olds inspected a Nativity set and explained,
"There's Mary and Joseph... and Baby Jesus in his car seat!"

Annie had taken her two children, Kerry and Paul, on an
educational visit to the museum. After they had walked around
the Egyptian mummy section, Paul asked, "Did they wrap the
daddies, too?"

Hahaha! She sure is cute, and she's only turning 3 (that should settle any speculation about it being a kiddie pic from the ancient history, heehee!! KIDDING) :-D

Kids can really bring a whole new perspective into things...like it's the first time I've thought of the manger as a carseat. I'll remember this kid again in about 4 months, while we're setting up the Nativity scene in our living room. =)

i love the idea of this post. i have three nephews, the younger are 2 and4, and they say the wierdest and funniest things!

and they do make you see things from the prespective of someone who sees them for the first time

You're right about that, doshar. When I need to "go back to the basics" and see things more simply, spending more time and talking with kids is one of the things I do.
